4th and 5th Graders Free

Qualifying 4th & 5th graders can participate in the Ski and Ride Free Program. Each participant will receive complimentary lift tickets for the 2021-2022 season. A report card, school ID or teacher’s note on school letterhead is required to qualify for the program. Show your documents at the Mountain Operations Center located at the summit in exchange for a lift ticket.

Bring your completed form plus a report card, student ID or a teacher’s note on school letterhead to the Mountain Operations Center to enroll in the program. Children must be between the ages of 9 and 11 to qualify.

Due to COVID19, food service at the Mountain View Cafe located in the lower level  at the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center is limited to take-out only. Be prepared to use your vehicle as a warming hut.

Road Conditions

The road is well managed by the Olympic National Park for safe winter travel. Chains must be carried in all vehicles traveling to the Ridge including all-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles.
